We’ve aimed to pick from the commercial brands that are more than about just great yarns; like Malabrigo and Mirasol which are not only great feeling and fun to work with, they also help support the small communities that make that yarn. And Noro... we learned a lot about Noro along the way - much more ecological and consistent with our vision than we ever thought.
We are also committed to support new fibre artists, using local and sustainable yarns - if you know of a smaller producer we ought to be carrying, let us know. If we end up carrying it, there’s going to be a goodie bag in it for you.
